Largest Live Wedding Painting

Largest Live Wedding by Tom Fagan Artist

Here is the largest live painting of a wedding ceremony at the St. Regis Resort in Dana Point, California. that I’ve done so far. 30 x 40. I actually painted two paintings that day, both 30 x 40, which took me 13 hours and every ounce of energy I could muster. I wish I could show you the second painting, the one of the reception, but my camera’s battery died on me before I could finish the painting.

Las Vegas

Here I am, Saturday night on the Vegas strip, to paint the goings on. I position myself next to the Bellagio fountains because I loved the composition that developed in front of me, with the Eiffel Tower and the Paris Globe, etc. After 4 hours of catching spray from the fountains, 46 degrees seemed more like 36.

This was early on as the night flew by.

Try this one: work on your painting while motorcycle cops’ lights are flashing on the canvas. It’s a real challenge.

Here’s the finished product. Thanks for viewing my art!

Tom Fagan live painting 01-28-12 Gaslamp San Diego

Last night I painted a live painting downtown in the Gaslamp district of San Diego on 5th ave. NBC cameras even stopped by to shoot some video of me painting. Last night I also had the painting session photographed for a time-lapse slideshow that will be going up on my new youtube channel very soon.
Here’s me with the final result of last nights efforts.

This was photographed over the course of four hours.
